23 Jan One Last Ride for Idries Sheriff

Join our Stay Wider of the Rider team on Sunday, 1 February 2026, for one last ride for Idries Sheriff.
The ride is free, and anyone is welcome to join. Meet us at Mouille Point parking area next to the putt putt gold course on Beach Road, Sea Point. We will depart at 07h45 to the Maiden’s Cove parking area.
We will follow the rules of the road at a slow pace. A ghost bike will be placed at the scene of the tragedy and we will gather at Maiden’s Cove parking area.
PPA will provide marshals, back up and emergency vehicles.
May this ride be a memory for us to share and remain etched in our hearts as we remember all cyclists that have lost their lives on our roads
