The Overstrand welcomed a handover of 60 bicycles to 4 Municipal Units; Fire Unit (15 bicycles), Law Enforcement Unit (15 bicycles), Environmental Services Unit (15 bicycles) and Traffic Unit (15 bicycles). These bicycles will be distributed to eligible members who live within the Project area and participating in the Adult Mobility programme. This is part of the Provincial Sustainable Transport Programme in collaboration with the Western Cape Department of Transport and Public Works, Bicycling Empowerment Network (BEN), Bike4All (a partnership between PPA and BEN) and Qhubeka.
